I am a visual 2-D artist, writer and a flautist from Little Rock, Arkansas. My experiences and background contribute to my profession as an Art Educator at Robinson Middle School. My art and research is influenced by an art historical background, especially in iconography, traditional or conventional images or symbols associated with a subject and especially a religious or legendary subject. The mediums I use include acrylics, oil, oil pastels, ink, watercolors, alcohol based markers and colored pencils. I'm happy to share my knowledge and creative process in the classroom and through lessons. Available for commission, I create representational and abstract art pieces.
I graduated from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR in 2009 with a BA in Art and Marketing and went to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for post-bac studies in Art History and French. I have shown my work at University of the Ozarks both as a graduating senior and as an Alumni, Christ Church Episcopal in downtown Little Rock, in the Argenta district and at Gallery 26 in Little Rock.
